Sri Lanka Test hundreds at Lords

LONDON: Sri Lanka captain Tillakaratne Dilshan joined an exclusive club when he scored only the seventh Sri Lankan century in a Lord's Test, against England on Saturday.

Dilshan was the sixth Sri Lankan batsman to achieve the feat -- team-mate Mahela Jayawardene, also playing in the ongoing second Test, has twice got his name on the Lord's honours board thanks to Test hundreds here in 2002 and 2006.

Sri Lanka Test hundreds at Lord's (year, player, total)

1984: Sidath Wettimuny 190

1984: Duleep Mendis 111

1984: Amal Silva 102 no

2002: Marvan Atapattu 185

2002: Mahela Jayawardene 107

2006: Mahela Jayawardene 119
